People should support this vet. When you need after hours help these people are priceless. Great honest service. Staff are very friendly as well.
Great ppl with a genuine loving caring friendly way with your pets who genuinely want to help and do the best for your loving friend weather its got four legs no legs or wings or maybe swims if they can help they will always do their best in the kindest friendliest way possible a beautiful group of ppl that really do care
Tried to call to take our dog in for an emergency appointment as she was very unwell and we were concerned. It was not very late at night and the clinic had only just closed. The vet was very rude to my partner, said not to bother taking the dog in and hung up the phone on my husband mid conversation.
Our dog was drooling big time and pawing at his mouth. So my wife took him to the vet, without asking me first where i normally take him. I have always gone to Port Pirie Vet Clinic. So anyway she takes him to Y P Vets and comes home with our dog, 3 hours later still drooling, with a $400 bill and a 'There's nothing wrong with him'. Even though my wife and daughter told them they think there is something stuck in his mouth. So the very next day i take him to the Port Pirie Vet Clinic, tell him i think there is something stuck in his mouth. He checks around the outside of the gums which i would expect him to do, he then holds his mouth wide open and looks inside and says" I think i can see a bone chip stuck in there" Grabs a pair of tongs goes in and pulls it out. $60 later i walk out happy, my wife, daughter and Cooper (the dog) walk out happy and no more drooling. Excellent Result.....
