Born in Port Pirie worked at the smelters as apprentice and tradesman electrician. My grandfather and father worked there too.my grandfather ended woking in the silver yard with 51 years service and my father was Forman rigger. Walking around the museum bought back many memories from Carlos icecream cart to the 1936 picture of the Salvation army band. Many people I knew pictured there.
